Installs Cut-to-length Line with e-Drive leveller in U.S.A.
Athader, in collaboration with The Bradbury Co. has completed the installation and commissioning of a Cut-To-Length line in a major white appliance manufacturer.
The Cut-To-Length line will process cold-rolled and pre-painted steel coils weighing up to 15 tons and thickness between 0.011″ and 0.019″ inches. The line consists of an entry section with an “L” type surface loading car, uncoiler with single mandrel and automatic edge positioning control, coil peeler, e-Drive leveller to ensure laser quality flat sheets, high-speed flying shear, a 90″ long inspection table and a turbo-airblow automatic stacker that has been specifically designed to work with the customer’s metal pallets. All adjustments of the line, including the loading of pallets, evacuation of finished package, etc. are carried out in a fully automatic manner.
This Cut to Length line, which combines Athader and Bradbury technologies, is one of dozens of lines that Athader has installed in North America since joining the Bradbury Group in 2012.
The result of the cooperation of both companies is an increasing presence in such a market, with several new projects for the United States to be delivered in 2022.
